Notification of Emergency Services during Covid-19 Pandemic
The Kuala Lumpur Chinese Visa Application Service Center (the Center) provides partial emergency services starting from 1 April 2021. The specific arrangements are as follows:
1. Starting from 1 April , every Tuesday and Friday (10:00-14:00), the Center provides visa application service for foreigners who are able to fulfill the requirements yet with special and emergency case that need to travel to the mainland of China and also legalization service.
(For diplomatic, official and courtesy visas, please proceed to the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy at FIRST FLOOR, OSK Building)
2. Conditions of application:
(1) Visa applications for emergency humanitarian reasons, such as going to China for attending funerals and visiting critically ill relatives. For attending funerals, please provide proof of relationship within three generations and the death certificate. Meanwhile for visiting critically ill relatives, please provide proof of relationship within three generations and the critical illness notification.
(2) Applicants applying for a crew visa shall provide the materials as required.
(3) Applicants who need to apply for legalization of documents due to emergency case, please send an e-mail to klcentre@visaforchina.org to explain the emergency reasons and provide all the relevant materials. Applicants who have received a reply from the center by e-mail should proceed to the Center according to the appointment time.
3. Requirements for epidemic prevention
(1) The applicant who visit the Center must receive temperature check, wear mask and use disinfectant hand sanitizer throughout the process, and maintain a distance of more than one meter between yourself and others.
(2) Please go through the relevant formalities with the Chinese Embassy before travel. After entering China, you must abide by China's domestic epidemic prevention regulations.

Kuala Lumpur Chinese Visa Application Service Center

Starting from the 1st March 2020, the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Malaysia will officially provide a new VIP service option.
Fee for VIP service: RM 70 , in which the usual visa fee and service fee is not included.
The VIP services consist of :
- Submit the applications in the VIP lounge without queuing ;
- Free to enjoy the VIP services anytime if the VIP lounge is not in use within the working hours;
- Supplement missing application documents before 9am of the next working day;
- Complimentary printing and photocopy services ( max capped at 10 pcs);
- Enjoy a variety of drinks and snacks;
- Personalised and specialised consulting services by VIP Liaisons;
- Should there be any changes, the Chinese Visa Application Centre will revise and notify in a timely manner.
